Now the air feels different. Heavy. The Spurs go home to San Antonio with a hole in their defense and a long weekend to fix it. Three days between disaster and redemption? That is either enough time to panic or enough time to breathe. Maybe both.
The Knicks are one win away from a title that feels like folklore at this point. 50-plus years since the last one. Can they handle the weight of that expectation or will the silence in the arena crush them?
