Predicting Apple’s Future Pays Off

4

Tech rumors. They never die. They just multiply. Apple dominates the noise floor. Naturally. Spring brought that budget MacBook Neo splash, shaking up the laptop scene. Then whispers started again. Foldable iPhones? Maybe in 2026? Sure, why not.

But what happens now? Who really knows?

CNET Group isn’t just speculating. They are betting. Sort of.

Across five major tech outlets, a contest is underway. It is called the Big Guessing Game. CNET leads the charge, flanked by Lifehacker, Mashable PCMag and ZDNet. They all share the same goal: predicting Apple’s next move. Specifically WWDC. Also that September hardware event. And the rest of this year’s chaos.

The Structure

It isn’t free-for-all. There are three distinct rounds. Each holds five questions.

  • Round 1 (Tuesday through June 2). Software heavy. macOS. iOS. watchOS. Siri. The digital side of things.
  • Round 2 (July 7–21). Hardware time. iPhones. MacBooks. AirPods. Plastic and metal.
  • Round 3 (August 18–September 1). The September live event. When Apple likely unveils the newest iPhone and Apple Watch generations.

One point per right answer.

Got it?

That single correct guess earns you an entry. A shot at the grand prize: the latest Apple Watch.

But you do not have to be a savant. You do not need perfect memory. Get one right, you’re in. Get fifteen right, you have fifteen entries stacked in the hopper. The odds shift. Significantly.

The Rules

Enter on CNET. Then go to Lifehacker. Do Mashable. Hit PCMag. Finish with ZDNet. Five entries total. One person can only win one big prize. We’re drawing names in early September.

Why guess alone? Multiply your chances across the ecosystem.

Some might argue you shouldn’t spread your bets. Risk of dilution, right? Maybe. Or maybe it is the smart play. Apple rarely drops a single product line quietly. They scatter updates. Like confetti.

What will you predict? New Siri tricks? A titanium MacBook? Or that folding screen finally arriving earlier than expected?

The clocks are ticking. June is here. Round 1 starts soon.
