King Saud University (KSU) and SenseTime MEA, a joint venture between Hong Kong-based artificial intelligence (AI) firm SenseTime Group and Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), have joined forces to establish a cutting-edge AI Innovation Centre in Riyadh. The centre, slated to open on November 11, 2025, will serve as a dynamic hub for research, application development across diverse sectors, and talent cultivation within the AI domain. It will integrate SenseTime MEA’s powerful computing capabilities – including a dedicated GPU cluster – with KSU’s renowned academic expertise. SenseTime MEA has already made its mark in Saudi Arabia since launching operations in 2022.
