That is a straight $20 cut.
Why care? The picture.
4K Ultra HD is standard here but it gets better. The stick supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Colors pop. Shadows deepen. Then there is audio. Dolby Atmos wraps the sound around you, which feels weird the first time but makes sense after ten minutes.
The screen is only half the equation. Sound matters just as much, or at least it tries to.
It uses WiFi 6E so the stream does not buffer when everyone else is downloading files. Smoothness is not a bug here. It is a feature.
Not watching? Fine. Leave the Fire TV Ambient Experience on.
Turn your TV into a digital canvas. Art. Photos. Whatever you like. The TV stays on but it looks nice, not dead black. A small trick, but it helps.
